Omega Phi Alpha

Omega Phi Alpha was founded on the principles of service, leadership, and sisterhood. We strive to spread positivity as the chapter helps the university community, the community at large, the members of the sorority, and the nations of the world. Our national service sorority provides great opportunities for community service, leadership roles, and making meaningful connections with our sisters. Together, we all join to complete service projects in giving back to the communities around us, while also having a great time with the members of the sorority!

 

I came to Texas State in the fall of 2023 with the hope of finding a group where I could form lifelong friendships.  I didn't know anyone at the start of my freshman year and I looked forward to making friends in college. I was looking for an organization that I could be a part of and I found Omega Phi Alpha. I never envisioned that I would join a sorority in college but now that I am a part of one, I wouldn't have it any other way. When I joined O-Phi-A, I knew that I had found what I was looking for. I was welcomed with open arms and I couldn't have asked for better sisters! I am able to serve my community through the many service projects that we complete and spend time with my fellow sisters. I knew that I loved serving the community but O-Phi-A made me love it even more! Words cannot describe how amazing it is to serve through this wonderful organization. Joining O-Phi-A changed my college experience for the better!
